I tried doing this on my own in a separate project but didn't work.

just separate the multiple box-shadow value sets with commas.
This generator tool might be useful for visually creating the effects you want and then providing ready-to-use code for your CSS file.

What do you mean with box-shadow lines? You can apply multiple shadows to a box-element by separating the different shadow sections with a comma if this is, what you meant.
