20,524 PointsIs the url assigned in the apps urlpatterns ignored?
Basically, it seemed like django only rendered the view on the site wide url assignment but not on the url assignment in the courses app. So is it basically just ignored?

18,397 PointsNo. Per the video, you include (not ignore) the urlpattern from the app.
The app url file actually specifies which view to load, i.e. views.course_list....
...and the project url file specifies the route and points (or includes) the app url
Hope this helps
