Is there a guide to formatting forum posts like how to format code, bbcode etc?

Where is the format guide for this forum?

Hi there! Yes, sort of. The answers/questions in this forum use something called "Markdown". If you'll notice, at the bottom of the "Add an Answer" is a link to a "Markdown Cheatsheet" which will give you some quick tips on how to use markdown.

That being said, markdown is used in quite a few place including GitHub so it's a really great thing to know especially if you want to make your repositories' README files really snazzy. I highly recommend taking an hour and going through the Markdown Basics course. As stated, it's only about an hour long and it's actually really fun.

Hope this helps! :sparkles:

Thanks. The link for this should appear when you ask a question or make a new post.

You have a lot of points. :) Cool.
