it's an compiler error no idea what going on please help

please help i am not sure what going on

Yes, sometimes it's hard to figure out exactly what they are asking for. What they want is for you to initialize the firstName variable with input from the console:

String firstName = console.readLine();

your readLine method should have a capital 'L'.

String secondName = console.readLine("What is your name?: ");
