I've tried everything and none of my solutions solve the question

Looks like you added the class "intro" to the span tag in the header. Remove that.

There is a span element within the paragraph with the intro class on line 14, it's hard to see.

The span element is on line 15: "Lake Tahoe is one of the most <span>breathtaking attractions</span> located in California. It's home to a number of ski resorts, summer outdoor recreation, and tourist attractions. Snow and skiing are a significant part of the area's reputation."

target that element with CSS in the .css file using the correct selector.

.intro span {} is one option
