Linear gradient challenge not excepting my answer

Taking the code challenge and it keeps saying that my answer is incorrect. To my knowledge it's correct and even shows the gradient in the preview screen. Error message says: Bummer! Make sure you're creating the gradient with a 'background-image' property. Am I wrong or is this a bug? Any suggestions would be helpful.

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
.main-header {
  height: 600px;
  background-image: linear-gradient(#ffa949, firebrick);
}
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lake Tahoe</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="page.css">
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">
  </head>
  <body>
    <header id="top" class="main-header">
      <span class="title">Journey Through the Sierra Nevada Mountains</span>
      <h1 class="main-heading">Lake Tahoe, California</h1>
    </header>

        <div class="primary-content">
            <p class="intro">
                Lake Tahoe is one of the most breathtaking attractions located in California. It's home to a number of ski resorts, summer outdoor recreation, and tourist attractions. Snow and skiing are a significant part of the area's reputation.
            </p>
            <a class="callout" href="#more">Find out more</a>
        </div><!-- End .primary-content -->
  </body>
</html>

Hi Phil,

I've just redone this task and I think it's failing as a result of the way the task makes you break down the steps of creating the declaration. Try removing the color stops from within the parenthesis and re-checking your work. Hope this helps.

background-image: linear-gradient();

Thanks Richard for your reply. Unfortunately, that didn't work either and I received the same error code.

Challenge quirks! Ok, I've just had another pop and tried the following:

.main-header {
  height: 600px;
  background-image: linear-gradient(#ffa949, firebrick);
}

FAIL

.main-header {
  background-image: linear-gradient(#ffa949, firebrick);
}

PASS

.main-header {
  background-image: linear-gradient();
}

PASS

Hope this helps
