I would like to set the background-color to orange in main-header.

The # means ID and . means its a class...check your css selector to make sure you used the right selector.

Hint: #main-header means main-header is an ID, but you used class="main-header" in the HTML.

The 'main-header' is a class not an ID. So you're to use a class selector ( '.main-header' ) not an ID selector ( '#main-header' ) to select the header tag and change the color.

  background-color: orange;
}
