CSS CSS Basics (2014) Basic Layout Floats

Major issue with the third objective of the Floats quiz

I am working on the CSS Basics class currently & am having an issue with the third question in the Floats quiz:

"In the preview, notice how the floats made the parent container's height collapse. In the HTML file, give the .secondary-content div the specified class for clearing floats."

When I put : <div class="secondary-content t-border group"> in the html file, I get "task two is no longer passing." So I go back to task two & click "recheck work" and I pass for task two. Then I put <div class="secondary-content t-border group"> again and I am redirected to task two again. I have absolutely no idea what's wrong, as I've checked here in the help forum and this is the correct answer moderators have given. Please help me pass this. It is due tomorrow night. Thank you so much in advance.

Hi there! You're doing terrific, but you have an error in your CSS in the content-traveling rule. You're simply missing a semicolon after the first rule. When you have more than one rule in a selector, you must end all rules except the last one with a semicolon. That being said, it's a great idea to end every rule with a semicolon out of habit just so you don't fall into this sort of scenario.

You wrote:

.content-traveling {
  float: left
  clear: both
}

That should be:

.content-traveling {
  float: left; /* note the ending semicolon here */
  clear: both
}

Hope this helps! :sparkles:

Easy fix, thank you so much! It was driving me bonkers!
