make intellij tools window stick to the right side (persistent) of intellij

Hi

In my intellij, I always have to go to the View-> Windows Tool -> Gradle to open the Gradle View. How do I make the Gradle Window View stick to the right hand side of intellij?

Thanks

I may have found it for you. :)

I'm on a Mac, but with my IntelliJ, under View there is a "Tool Buttons" option. When checked, the Gradle button is there, if I 'unselect' it, the Gradle button is gone. So just make sure you have "Tool Buttons" 'checked.'

Hey Mark,

I'm not sure if it's a setting or not (I'm not in a position to double check right now). But, when I close the tools, a little tab stays on the left side of the window. To re-open Gradle tools, I just click on the Gradle tab. See if you have a tab there that, maybe, you just didn't notice. :)

I don't have that tab you mentioned ... I have it at my work PC intellij ... but I can't figure out how to make it stick at my home pc intellij.

If you happen to figure it out, please advise ... I googled all over but I don't seem to hit the right search key words to reveal relevant information about this problem.

Thanks

Thank Jason ... I appreciate it. This works. I gotta write this down somewhere ... Nothing in my google searches led me to this button.
