Here it is:

<ul>  
    <li><a href="cakes.html">Cakes</a></li>
    <li><a href="pies.html">Pies</a></li>
    <li><a href="candy.html">Candy</a></li>
    </ul>  

3 things that need to be corrected:

First, you missed the <li> on the cakes item.

Second, you have "www.pies.html" & "www.candy.html", take the "www" away from those.

Third, "cakes.hmlt" should be "cakes.html"

thank you so much, but the only way i got it done it by copy what you write and post it, i even write down mamy time the same way it never go in.
