style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
@media screen and (max-width: 1020px) {
  .main-header {
    background-color: tomato;
    color: white;
  }
}

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>

Hi Hazuki,

Remove the 'screen and' part and that should sort it.

Hope that helps.

Try changing the media type to "all"

@media all and (max-width: 1020px) { .main-header { background-color: tomato; color: white; } }

@media (max-width: 1020px) {
  .main-header {
    background-color: tomato;
    color: white;
  }
}

@media (max-width: 1020px){ ...... }
