Python Using Databases in Python Meet Peewee Create Table

Meta class in tables.py Peewee

do not know what is wrong with the meta class.. yields the following error: "type object 'Challenge' has no attribute '_meta'"

tables.py
from peewee import *;

db = SqliteDatabase("challenges.db")

class Challenge:
    name = CharField(max_length=100)
    language = CharField(max_length=100)

    class Meta:
        database = db

Hi there! You're doing great! The problem is that I'm not sure why this passed the second challenge. You forgot to make the Challenge class inherit from Model.

So if I change this line:

class Challenge:

To this:

class Challenge(Model):

... your code passes with flying colors! Hope this helps! :sparkles:

Thanks Jennifer! This helped me. 2 years on though and second challenge still lets you proceed...probably worth fixing the verification so other students don't struggle with the same thing in the future.
