Treehouse Project ReviewerHi, you have added a class to the span without the quotes to surround the class name. However, this was not needed at all as to simply target this element, you need to use the descendant selector learned in this course.
.intro span {
/* code here...*/
}
By using the above selector, the browser searches for an element with the class intro and then searches for a span element within that element. This particular selector is called a descendant selector, because it targets the element specified after the first.
You dont need to create a class for the span, just target like the above. You would use a class for the span if you had multiple span elements inside the paragraph with the class intro and you wanted different styles.
