Morse Code Challenge

I'm stuck on this challenge, I am pretty sure this is right, what am I missing :)

morse.py
class Letter:
    def __init__(self, pattern=None):
        self.pattern = pattern
    def __str__(self, pattern):
        morse_list = []
        for item in self.pattern:
            if item == '.':
                morse_list.append('dot')
            else:
                morse_list.append('dash')
        return '-'.join(morse_list)

class S(Letter):
    def __init__(self):
        pattern = ['.', '.', '.']
        super().__init__(pattern)

pattern shouldn't be a parameter of the __str__ method. It is already a parameter of __init__().
