The error message says it all "name food is not defined". Since you're using a class, food is an attribute of this class, so how would you call an attribute of a class? by using self? YES, THAT'S RIGHT.

class Panda:
    species = 'Ailuropoda melanoleuca'
    food = 'bamboo'

    def __init__(self, name, age):
        self.is_hungry = True
        self.name = name
        self.age = age

    def eat(self):
        self.is_hungry = False
        return ("{self.name} eats {food}".format(self.name, food)) 👈#Use self, AND your method of formatting is completely
                                                                      # wrong
