Equality.java
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console.
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";

if (firstExample.equalsIgnoreCase(thirdExample)) {
    console.printf("first and third are the same ignoring case");

William,

This is an issue with the test. You are on 2/2 of the challenge and you removed the code that you wrote for 1/2. When we open a challenge there is a message:

Important: The code you write in each task should be added to the code written in the previous task.

Therefore, if you remove the code from previous tasks, then the test is not guaranteed to pass.

Just put the first working if statement back and the test will pass.

Regards,

Chris
