Need Help!

I don't understand what I've done wrong here. I've put a space at the end but it's not working.

starter.py 
numbers = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]


def add(num1, num2):
    return num1 + num2


def subtract(num1, num2):
    return num1 - num2


def mathy(num1, num2):
    up = add(5 + 7 + 7 + 9)
    down = subtract(6, 3)
    return add(up, down)

Hey Yusuf, you were very close. I see in line 13 you've replaced the comma with an addition operator. Using the addition operator there makes it all one statement, when you're needing to provide two arguments(5 +7, and 7 + 9). So if you call your add function like: add(5 + 7, 7 + 9) it should pass! Hope this helps.
