Python Introducing Lists Using Lists Continental

Need help on only printing continents with the letter "A" out of a list

I'm stuck ive tried everything i can think of even trying to change list which you can't.

continents = [
    'Asia',
    'South America',
    'North America',
    'Africa',
    'Europe',
    'Antarctica',
    'Australia',
]

Here are a few hints:

  • start by creating the code that prints out every item in the list
  • add a conditional ("if") statement to control when the "print" is done
  • have the conditional test the first letter to see if it is "A"
  • you can isolate a specific letter in a string using indexing (a number in brackets)
