6,688 PointsIn your HTML file you have header with id "main-heading": <header id="main-heading" > ... </header> Inside this header there is h1 with class "main-heading": <h1 class="main-heading">Lake Tahoe, California</h1>
Your task is to target the class main-heading, not the id main-heading. The #id selector styles the element with the specified id: #main-heading { ... } , and ".class" selector selects elements with a specific class attribute.
.main-heading { ... }
So try change your code in CSS, and instead of selecting #main-heading, select .main-heading. And remember to close curly braces.

6,688 PointsHello! You are targeting header with id "main-heading", but you need to target the class "main-heading", so instead of writing "#main-heading" write ".main-heading".

What am I doing wrong? I tried to understand the above help offered to this challenge but I still don't understand.
