Place the 'p' (without quotes) on the same line as .main-content. Remember to place a space after .main-cotent and before the 'p'.

For a refresher, re-watch the previous video beginning at 0:50 - https://teamtreehouse.com/library/css-basics/basic-selectors/descendant-selectors-2

CSS selectors are a huge part of making a website. You should definitely go back and watch the video a few times just to drill in the ideas a little more. Even if you don't understand them immediately, you're building a foundation.

But here's what you're looking for. Basically, you can string along as many descendant selectors as you want. So we're starting with an element with a classname of "main-content", and then selecting all < p > elements within.

.main-content p {
  font-weight: bold;
}

We'd go even further if we wanted to add styles to the link in the footer ( < a > tag )...

body footer p a {
  color: blue;
}

This is a long-winded example just to make a point. We're finding all anchor tags within paragraph tags within footer elements within the body tag. In reality you'd probably just do:

footer a {
  color:blue;
}

Thank you all so much!! I can tell you how many ways i wrote this but placing the p on the same line and removing the "" and space was the answer! Thank you for your kind input i was able to grasp making my own website well; but grasping the css is catching me out a bit!
