The same reason as many people on here get frustrated on here is the lack of support within the site when you get stuck. The code challenges are impossible to get past at times and you end up wasting loads of learning time trying to fathom out the root of the question. When i see other users stuck it annoys me just as much. Treehouse need to sort this problem out but it seems like they don't care.

231,007 PointsThis forum is here for users to help each other, which happens all the time. I'm just one of many students who check the forum and provide answers when they can. There are a few things you can do to help get rapid answers:
- always provide your complete code
- be sure to format pasted code using Markdown, as explained on this video on code formatting.
- when possible, make a snapshot of your workspace and post the link to it
- be sure to clearly describe the issue you are having
Then, while waiting on a reply, particularly to a code challenge issue, you can move on to the next video. The challenges and quizzes are all optional, and exist primarily to help reinforce the concepts being taught by the videos.

2,887 PointsI have managed to get through the challenge now after some help from other sites but i am not happy to skip the challenges without the correct answers as to me this defeats the object of the whole learning process.

And the other hints should help you get quicker and more accurate answers.

19,323 PointsCliff Jackson Hiya there! There are no shortcuts to learning programming. Period! But what it takes is persistence and patience and lots of learning and reading outside Treehouse. Like Steven Parker said, we are all students here who are trying to help each other as a community of passionate learners, right? Sometimes I try to answer whenever I can which has really helped me to concrete that foundation of the knowledge I gained. If it really helps, I've seen Software Engineers with 10+ years of experience stuck for a week coz of a typo.
Sometimes bugs really frustrate you and Its like finding a needle in a haystack and it takes a lot of debugging and going back and forth between multiple files. But its all part of a learning curve. Also, Steven Parker suggested really good points, which made me a learn lot too from him. So don't be discouraged and stay motivated and take a break sometimes whenever you can.
