You're very close. Remember that the index starts at 0 -- the first item is represented with 0, the second with 1, and so on:
student_gpas = [4.0, 2.3, 3.5, 3.7, 3.9, 2.8, 1.5, 4.0]
sliced_gpas = student_gpas[2:5]

There's a couple of Gotcha's here.
Firstly remember that arrays are zero-index based. So the first index is represented by the number 0 and so on.
Secondly, the second stop which is the end stop number is exclusive which means that the slice cuts off from that number. You're probably cutting off the slice a little to early. To display the correct value you need to work out the index of the value you want and add one to the value.
