No matter which way I put in the answer it says I'm wrong.

I have tried to answer this many ways and no matter what I do it does not work. i have tried: const inputValue = document.getElementById("linkName").value;

const inputValue = document.querySelectorAll('input'); inputValue.value;

const inputValue = document.getElementsByTag('input').value

and many other ways nothing works for me

Try changing "linkName" to "linkText" to match the id of the input element.

document.querySelectorAll returns a NodeList and document.getElementsByTagName returns an HTMLCollection. You can specify that you want the first element by using [0] or by using document.querySelector instead.
