Not sure what I am doing wrong

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Please help, thanks.

Hey Michael Gilley,

Remove the const keyword from if parentheses and it will work fine.

Your final code should look like this after removing const keyword:

if(a > b) {
  console.log('a is greater than b');
} else {
  console.log('a is not greater than b');
}

Const is used to define the variable as a constant. In other words, the value can not be changed later. Once you define a variable you call it by its name.

const a = 10;

The variable name is a, so to call it or in your case to compare it you just call a.

if(a.b) {

}

Just like rabin stated.
