Not sure what I'm doing wrong here!

I think I am missing something small here...

racecar.py
class RaceCar:

    def __init__(self, color, laps, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
        self.laps = 0
        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        self.fuel_remaining -= length * 0.125
        self.laps += 1

Hiya Gavin! You are very close. First off, you dont need "laps" attribute in your init method. Second off, the question says you need to give a default value 0 to "laps" attribute. Just define your "laps" outside your init method and below "class RaceCar" and assign it a default value of "0". Defining an attribute this way, makes it accessible to every method inside your class. I hope it helped! Have a nice day! (:
