Not too sure why this doesnt work. Please help

Why isn't this working? Im not sure what im doing wrong. Any help is appreciated

It's this line that's causing the problem. Key is a variable not the name of the key, so it shouldn't be in quotes. Take a look at the correct line:

content = content.replace("%"+key+"%", values[key]);
