617 Pointsoverride the add_item method
Since it asks to override 'add_item' I wouldn't use init like in the video? I tried either way but can't figure out how I'm using super() wrong.
class Inventory:
def __init__(self):
self.slots = []
def add_item(self, item):
self.slots.append(item)
class SortedInventory(Inventory):
def add_item(self, item)
super().add_item(item)

Treehouse TeacherHi there! You're not using it incorrectly, but you have one syntax error and one indentation problem. You still need a colon at the end of the definition of the add_item
function. The call to super()
should be indented inside that function definition. When I correct these 2 things, your code passes Step 2.
Hope this helps!
