Please help me with this code challenge

To Whom It May Concern:

I am supposed to be targeting the span element inside the intro element giving the span element a font size bold and font style italic, but it won't accept my code because it wants me to select the intro class and set an em to a font size value of 20px, which I already did. What am I doing wrong? Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Hi Susan,

Be sure to read the questions carefully. The challenge first asks to target the intro class and give it a line-height and font-size. Then target the span element inside the intro class and give it a font-weight and font-style. e.g.

.intro {
  font-size: 1.25em;
  line-height: 1.6em;
}

.intro span {
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;
}

a:link {
  text-decoration: none;

It looks like you may have mashed up the two different selectors into one, but both of these are required by the challenge:

.intro {
  font-size: 1.25em;
  line-height: 1.6;
}

.intro span {
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;
}

Susan, you are really close, the issue you are have is that you need to create a new rule, like below:

.intro {
  /*properties go here*/
  font-size: 1.25em;
  line-height: 1.6;
}

.intro span{
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;
}
