Publish Visual studio MVC application Error

I am trying to publish my visual studio MVC website with FTP and using Web Hosting for Students. But when I publish via visual studio and Transfer all my files and type my website in URL, it just shows the files directory and doesn't take me to website home page. do I need to change path root somewhere like Web.config or this is happening because Web Hosting for Students does not support ASP.net MVC?

Hello Majid,

My guess is that the hosting does not support ASP.NET MVC. They are most likely using Linux boxes that are not yet supporting ASP.NET Core 1.
