python: problem with indentation

Hi Team,

I am really stuck with this problem. Can you help me as I did review the logic and it seems fine and already seconded by another user and it works fine.

Regards,

morse.py
class Letter:
    def __init__(self, pattern=None):
        self.pattern = pattern
    def __iter__(self):
        yield from self.pattern
    def __str__(self):
        output = []
        for blip in self:
            if blip == '.':
                output.append('dot')
            else:
                output.append('dash')
        return '-'.join(output)

    @classmethod
    def from_string(cls, str_input):
        str_output=[]
        str_wip=str_input
        for str_proc in str_wip.split('-'):
            if str_proc == 'dash':
                str_output.append('_')
            elif str_proc == 'dot':
                str_output.append('.')
            else:
                pass
        return cls(str_output)

class S(Letter):
    def __init__(self):
         pattern = ['.', '.', '.']
         super().__init__(pattern)

Your code works fine when I paste it. Try to refresh your work space

Indentation seems to be always an issue for me as well. I always backspace the entire line, then use tab to correct it in the indentation it needs to be in.

You can use this or revisit it if you have already covered it https://teamtreehouse.com/library/write-better-python
