HTML HTML Basics Getting Started with HTML Lists and Links Challenge

Question: Make the text inside each list item a link.

I have checked this several times but treehouse keeps saying, "Bummer! You need to set the 'href' attribute of the second <a> element to 'pies.html'."

Any help, please?

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lists and Links</title>
  </head>
  <body>

    <ul>
      <a href="cakes.html"><li>Cakes</li></a>
      <a href="pies.html"><li>Pies</li></a>
      <a href="candy.html"><li>Candy</li></a>
    </ul>

  </body>
</html>

Hi,

you have to add the anchor element inside the list item element. Currently you have it the other way round.

<ul>
  <li><a href="cakes.html">Cakes</a></li>
  <li><a href="pies.html">Pies</a></li>
  <li><a href="candy.html">Candy</a></li>
</ul>

Thank you very much! Really appreciated!

Your points are really impressive! I want to be like you when I grow up hehe:)))
