Race Car class

I'm not sure were I'm going wrong here. Is the length argument for the run_lap method also an attribute of RacceCar? What code should I use to nail this question?

racecar.py 
class RaceCar():

    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, laps, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
        self.laps = 0
        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        self.fuel_remaining = self.fuel_remaining - (length*0.125)
        self.laps+=1

Here is my solution:

class RaceCar:  # Here, you don't need parenthesis.

    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):  # There is no need to take laps as a parameter.
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
        self.laps = 0

        for attr, val in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, attr, val)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        self.fuel_remaining -= length*0.125  # You can simplify this line.
        self.laps += 1

You're extremely close. The only serious issue is that "laps" should not be an argument to __init__, it wasn't being used anyway.

And as Daniel pointed out, you don't need parentheses in the class definition (but oddly, the challenge doesn't seem to notice them).
