To iterate the laps, I add laps=0 to the class itself and in run_lap(), I added self.laps += 1. This works in console, but does not pass the exercise. I was wondering what I am doing wrong.
class RaceCar:
laps = 0
def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
self.color = color
self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
for key, value in kwargs.items():
setattr(self, key, value)
def run_lap(self, length):
self.fuel_remaining -= (length*0.125)
self.laps += 1

Your code works ok for me but doesn't pass task 3 of the challenge but I don't think you've reached that yet.
I suggest copying your code and refreshing the page then pasting it back in
Steve.
