Python Object-Oriented Python Instant Objects Master Class

racecar.py

I'm stuck in this challenge (is a real challenge for me) Can someone help me here? view the challenge, I don't know how to modify the values of laps and fuel_remaining when run_lap method is called.

racecar.py
class RaceCar:
    laps = 0

    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

You are on the right track. Set self.fuel_remaining as you would any variable.

self.fuel_remaining = self.fuel_remaining - (length * 0.125)

Also, the laps variable can be accessed in the same manner: self.laps

Thank you!

def run_lap(self, length): self.fuel_remaining -= length * 0.125 self.laps += 1
