What am i doing wrong here please??

    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        self.length = length
        self.laps = laps + 1
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining - (length*0.125)

It looks like you forgot to use the prefix "self." when referring to the instance variables.

FYI: You can avoid restating the variable name by using the special assignment operators that also add or subtract:

        self.laps += 1
        self.fuel_remaining -= length * 0.125
