Return counts in string

Hello, I tried below codes, it works in the .py file on local PC, while seems not working in the code challenge, Do I miss anything from this task?

escapes.py 
import re
def first_number(str1):
  return re.search(r'\d', str1)

def numbers(count2, str2):
   return re.search(r'\w' * count2, str2)

The problem is asking for you to return numbers/digits (r'\d'). It took me a second read through to realize that is what the question was asking for, so it was definitely easy to miss. Other than that, you were spot on. This code should work:

import re
def first_number(str1):
  return re.search(r'\d', str1)

def numbers(count2, str2):
   return re.search(r'\d' * count2, str2)    # changed to \d
