Analyzing study_minutes array Craig talks about rounds of studying, i don't really understand what that means

I believe he's using rounds like sessions or times of study. For instance, if he says he had two rounds of study yesterday, then he studied two different times yesterday. So the array holds all of the times he's studied and he's calling them rounds instead of times studied.
