Run Console

I must have missed something. I'm doing the 'Beginning PHP' track, currently, and in it, the woman talks about 'running a console'. I tried to backtrack, but I couldn't find any good info on how to do this. Would someone please explain how to run the console so I can resume PHP? Thanks! :)

I haven't done the php track, but I'm guessing this is referring to either the Terminal (Mac) or Command Prompt (Windows). There's a Treehouse workshop on the mac terminal here. I didn't find anything for Windows.

thank you!
