It seems that you having difficulty understanding the different css properties and what they do.

Here is a great and professional resource for learning more about css properties https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Reference

What I typically do when researching a single property, say border, is I will google "css border" and then find the https://developer.mozilla.org website listing and click there.

I would recommend researching these three css properties: color - https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/color border - https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/border border-top - https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/border-top
