Something wrong while incrementing laps...??

does anybody have any suggestions on what could be wrong?

racecar.py
class RaceCar:
    laps = 0
    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
        for key, value in kwargs.items():
              setattr(self, key, value)
        def run_lap(self, length, fuel_remaining):
            fuel_remaining -= (length*0.125)
            self.laps +=1

Looks like your run_lap function is inside your init :)

Also, you don’t need to pass fuel_remaining as an argument to run_lap. Make sure you use self. before fuel_remaining when you decrease it, as well!

Ahaa, yes. I was trying to see what was wrong and flew right past the fact that I had the method in an init and that the method didn't require fuel_remaining. Thanks a lot AJ.
