Python Using Databases in Python Meet Peewee First Queries

sort by ascending

Hi guys, Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here? I'm trying to sort by ascending, as specified in the code challenge. Thanks for any insights you can provide.

queries.py
from models import Challenge

all_challenges = Challenge.select()

Challenge.create(language='Ruby', name='Booleans')

sorted_challenges = all_challenges.order_by(Challenge.asc())

The correct syntax for your last line is:

sorted_challenges = all_challenges.order_by(Challenge.steps)

Note that ascending is default, so there's no need to specify, but if you prefer to be explicit, you would write:

sorted_challenges = all_challenges.order_by(Challenge.steps).asc()

If you change the final line to

sorted_challenges = all_challenges.order_by(Challenge.steps)

it will give you the desired result.

cool ... it worked ! Thanks guys :-)
