This error turns up when I answer the https://teamtreehouse.com/library/reporting-with-sql/working-with-text/replacing-strings With Select replace(email, "@", "<at>") as obfuscate_email from customers;

19,141 PointsYou're really close, and the error message is a bit less than helpful there. The issue is actually the alias - challenges can be picky about the directions, and it asks for the alias to be obfuscated_email, while yours is obfuscate_email - I tried your code with the extra 'd' added, and it worked.
