Stuck at this codechallenge

I am stuck at this code challenge:

I have tried it on my own machine and it works fine

slug.py
import os
import re

def slugify(string):
    res = string
    num = 0
    while os.path.exists(res):
        res = res[:res.rfind('.')] + str(num) + res[res.rfind('.'):]
        num += 1
    res = re.sub(r'\s+', r'', res)
    path, filename = res[:res.rfind('/')+1], res[res.rfind('/')+1:]
    filename = re.sub(r'^[^\d\w\_]', r'a', filename).lower().strip()
    return path + filename

I found out what was wrong the slugify needed two arguments one for the filename/dirname and one for the path like this

def slugify(string, path):

I have written it in more detail here: Another thread

Thank you! Could not figure out why it wasn't passing. That did it.
