Treehouse Moderator 68,426 PointsBeyond the typo Christian mentioned (replace ++ with += 1), the challenge asks you to assign laps in the __init__ section but does not ask to add it to the argument list.
- remove the
lapsparameter - set
self.laps = 0 - bonus:
laps,colorandfuel_remainingdo not need to be set to default class values.

in Python it is not valid syntax to use ++ for incrementing (use self.laps += 1 instead). Also, you shouldn't initialize color and fuel_remaining directly on the class. It is better to let the init method do this job (see also task 3/3).
