Tacocat: "Bummer! Your code took too long to run."

My code is passing all the tests in my workspace: https://w.trhou.se/wakhou6c9t

But in the code challenge it says my code is taking too long to run. What's happening?

(P.S. I'm embarrassed that I've been working on this challenge for more than a year...)

Hi Brendan,

The issue is that you didn't remove the "app.run()" call in tacocat.py. In the challenge objective it makes special mention to make sure you remove them as it causes conflicts with the code checker. But in a real application you would be correct in calling it as you do.

Good luck.

No problem.

Yeah it would be interesting to know exactly how it is tested. I imagine in this case it is similar to the reason why we don't have to actually call a function that we define in a code challenge. Maybe they actually run this on their own host, rather than just running the unittests.
