the content printed to the screen by document.write() does not have the same padding as the stuff in the HTML file

The content printed by document.write() in my .js file has the same font properties (color, size, font family) as the <h1> tag content from the HTML page, but its padding is different. Specifically, it has no padding, even though the document.write() content is also enclosed in <h1> tags.
