C# User Authentication with ASP.NET Identity Segmenting and Protecting Data Updating the Database Seed Data

There's no method 'userManager.Create()' only '...createAsync()'...

Hi! As the subject implies I can't test these changes. The seed data users are never created now and visual studio keeps waiting for the 'await' keyword..

I don't know where to use the 'await' keyword in order to wait for the user to be completely created since it's an asynchronous method. I can't change the Seed method definition because then it won't be overridden. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks!

Hey Simon,

You need to add the using Microsoft.AspNet.Identity; directive to use Create().
