This is for Mac. I don't have a Mac. I should just skip this section for now?

Odd it wasn't mentioned that one had to have a Mac. So I'm out for now. A "third party rental" is out of the question at this time. Any suggestions?

It's difficult to tell which course you're referring to, since it seems like it didn't get linked properly to this question. However, there are usually Windows alternatives for most of the macOS software out there. Besides, the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, which is in nearly every designer's toolkit, is cross-platform. Macs are definitely most popular in the design industry nowadays, but you can totally find similar software for Windows
