Python Dates and Times in Python (2014) Where on Earth do Timezones Make Sense? Timezone Strings

I don't understand this challenge

timezone.py 
import datetime

import pytz

starter = pytz.utc.localize(datetime.datetime(2015, 10, 21, 23, 29))

to_timezone = datetime.timezone(2015, 10, 21, 23, 29, tzinfo=None)

starter.astimezone(to_timezone)

I am also stuck on that challenge. Here is what I have: 

import datetime

import pytz

starter = pytz.utc.localize(datetime.datetime(2015, 10, 21, 23, 29))

def to_timezone(eastern):
    eastern = pytz.timezone('US/Eastern')
    starter_eastern = starter.astimezone(eastern)
    return starter_eastern

What am I doing wrong here?

Hi, Aizah!

First, the challenge asks you to create a function, so to_timezone should be a function, not a variable. Next, it says the function will receive a timezone as a string as an argument, so the function should have one argument. Then it says to use the given timezone that is being passed in to convert starter to this timezone using pytz.

def to_timezone(tz_string):
    tz = pytz.timezone(tz_string)
    return starter.astimezone(tz)
