1,834 PointsTrouble with datetime combine
Hey, I'm having trouble with my code where I'm trying to combine date and time. I have a feeling it has to do with using the wrong arguments on datetime.combine. I looked up the documentation and it seems that I may have to pull the variables off my date and time separately, then input them back into the combine method. Is there a simpler way to go about this?
import datetime
def time_tango(date, time):
d = datetime.datetime.strptime(str(date), '%x')
t = datetime.datetime.strptime(str(date), '%X')
return datetime.datetime.combine(datetime.date(d), datetime.time(t))

1,834 PointsNevermind, I just used the combine method on the date and the time. It was much simpler than I had anticipated.
